These terms govern your use of CompEx Ready. CompEx Ready is a trading name of Xcell Intelligence Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 16087158), 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
CompEx Ready is an independent online study aid for the CompEx Ex01-04 certification. It is a revision resource only. It is not the official CompEx course or exam, it does not award any qualification, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to CompEx Certification Limited, EEMUA, IEC, ATEX or UKAS.
We do not guarantee that using CompEx Ready will result in you passing any exam or assessment. The content is provided to support your preparation. Your result depends on your own study and your performance on the day.
We take care to keep the content accurate and current as of the date shown, but standards, regulations and exam requirements change. The content is provided for guidance and revision only and does not replace the official standards, your training provider's material, or professional judgement. Always follow the current official standards and your employer's safe systems of work when carrying out real work in hazardous areas.
Your login is for you alone. If it is used by more than one person, or on several devices at the same time, your access will be revoked straight away and you will not be refunded. You can appeal your case, but sharing your login is the quickest way to lose it. Please do not send it to anyone else.
The rule. Your account is personal to you and is for a single user. You must not share, sell, lend or transfer your account or your login details, and you must not let anyone else use your access. We may limit the number of devices allowed on one account.
How we check. We track account activity, including the devices and sessions used, to spot sharing and misuse (see our Privacy Policy). Signs of sharing include the same account being used by more than one person, or on several devices at the same time.
What happens. If we reasonably believe an account is being shared, tampered with or otherwise misused, we may suspend or permanently remove access without a refund.
Appealing. If your access is suspended and you think it was a genuine mistake, for example you changed your phone, email support@compexready.com and explain. We will review it and, where it was a genuine mistake, restore your access. Where sharing is confirmed, the suspension stands.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
You may use CompEx Ready for your own personal study. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, resell or share the content or your access with anyone else, and you must not attempt to scrape, download in bulk, or systematically extract the content.
All content in CompEx Ready, including the written material, questions, tables, diagrams, design and code, is the property of Xcell Intelligence Ltd and is protected by law. You are granted a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use it for your own revision only. No other rights are granted.
CompEx Ready is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the content, including any exam result or any work carried out in a hazardous area. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update the service and these terms from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
